**It’s Valentine’s Day coming up and I want you to stay married**. I don’t want this Hallmark day to be the straw that broke the camel’s back.

### **Take a moment and ask yourself where you are in your marriage**

- Do you show gratitude?
- Do you show appreciation?
- Do you show affection?
- Do you react to requests?
- Do you look at your spouse and think “I love you”?
- Do you wish things were better?

### **Now ask yourself**

- Can I do better?
- Am I proactive?
- Do I present myself as a safe space for my spouse?
- Am I present? Not just physically?

What can you do this Valentine to show your spouse you see them, their needs, their likes? To show them they are special enough to make an effort in this crazy world? Please don’t take your marriage for granted.
